Actually, I think I agree with you. Both mediums are good, but this looks more real, if that makes any sense.

Still need some sort of better model than V4. Of course the CG Society says that V4 isn’t all that good. They are right, of course. But they don’t have to be arrogant about it.

The only problem area with V4 is her shoulders. Setting Shoulder Shrug to a negative value (-0.7 is what I use, mostly) fixes that reasonably well for most poses.
I agree – I’d love to see a new figure. Ideally, I’d like to be able to set variable Levels of Detail so she (or he) can range from being a low memory, low-detail figure to a very highly detailed one complete with lines, creases and scars directly in the mesh.
Add in a working Age dial, and that would be perfect for my needs.
