Me, I like the idea that Clerics can manifest their faith in their gods as something tangible. I’d quite like to see a melee-weapon version of Lance of Faith where the Cleric can create a blade of light at-will too. Go on, tell me that Jedi-clerics wouldn’t rock your world. I dare ya!
I can’t understand why folks hate laser clerics so much when we’ve had laser wizards with their auto-hitting Magic Missiles since, like, ever.
