What do you call a pack of Greywulfs ?

Greywulf::Net of course!

For the last few days I’ve been deep in giving Greywulf::Net a make-over so that it’s more attractive, cleaner and simpler to navigate. I hope you like the end result.

Christa and I are going to be busy writing more articles about programming and design issues. We’ll be looking at what can be done to bring these two disparate skillsets together and what tools are available to turn good coders and designers into terrific coders and designers. We will look at what makes a great template, how to choose the right blogging software and the ethics of programming – and much, much more.

It’s going to be quite a challenge, which is where you come in. Yes, you looking at the screen eating cookies. I mean you.

Everything on Greywulf::Net is open for anyone to read; commenting and forum access is open too. What we really want to happen though is for people to sign up and contribute, to be a part in making Greywulf::Net the site where programmers and designers can meet, bash heads and make this whole internet thing a better place. We can’t do it without you.

There are, of course, incentives. Did I mention that?

Firstly, all contributions to Greywulf::Net earn Points. The more points you have, the higher up the fabled Hall of Fame your name is. Fame, glory and stardom can all be yours.

Each registered user also has their own Blogspace at Greywulf::Net that can be integrated in with everyone else’s blogposts. Imagine a massive collaborative blog where other people write great stuff while you sleep. Now, how cool is that?

If we like what you write and your quality and output is consitent, we’ll promote you. Yes, Promotion. Suddenly you’ll be able to write full articles that appear on the front page. You will guide the direction of Greywulf::Net and be a part of the Pack.

Points, Blogspace and Promotion.

Think about it.
